For those of you who dont already know, I work at Gilly Hicks. Yup.
At work we had a huge sale today were every one got a sales card. They either got 30% off, buy one get one free, or they could even win an ipad or an ipod touch. The line went from inside the store to all the way down to the end of the entire mall.
The store was packed to capacity.
I was so annoyed of all of the customers asking me stupid questions, asking me how much 30% off would be from the item that they bought, and asking if I knew how much their sweatshirt was.. even though they could just look at the PRICE TAG.
The models were pretty pompous too, they would strut around the store while girls, and moms, would woo at them and they would wink back and exchange a smile.
But I thought it would be funny to make fun of the situation and take my picture with them- we thought idea of having one of them looking jealous and the other one being super gay was hilarious. The rest of the night, I would joke with them back and fourth. They were actually pretty cool dudes.
Its kinda funny how quickly I can judge someone. As soon as I get one impression of someone thats how I veiw them until something drastic changes. I had only said whats up to the 4 or 5 models that were at the store today once and instantly didnt like them. Yes out of jealousy because they are in better shape than me. But also just because I am that kind of person. As soon as they started joking back with me I kinda realized- hey , this “hunk” isnt that bad of a guy.
You learn stuff in the stupidest of ways. Tonight, I learned my lesson from a shirtless man at work today.
